Guess what I got? The One Lovely Blog Award from Rajee at Rajee Sood . And that's what I've been saying about her "Home in style" blog. Go check it out. That lady sure has some very stylish ideas!
Thanks, Rajee.
Now I would like to pass this award on to some of my favourite bloggers.
Indian Homemaker at The Life and Times of an Indian Homemaker - for her very spunky blog which alternately has me dissolving in giggles or vehemently nodding my head in agreement.
Arch at Rang Decor - one blog filled with lovely spaces that I wish I occupied.
Kerri at Colors of the Garden - filled with the most wonderful plants and flowers. Her photos are as good as a feast to the eyes.
Joy at Garden Joy 4 Me - I always thought Canada was a very cold place until Joy with her warm, friendly blog showed me that no matter what the climate is, the people there definitely aren't cold.
Meems at Hoe and Shovel - for having one of the most enjoyable blogs about her very lush and bountiful Florida garden.
Thomas and Shilpi at Walk the Wilderness - with some of the most stunning wildlife photography that I've ever seen. I keep telling Thomas to come and collect all the wildlife in my garden, at least the bugs, but he keeps ducking the issue.
I didn't see any specifics about how many bloggers I could pass this award to, and left to myself, I think I would go on and on. But maybe, now's a good time to stop?
Thanks again all of you for publishing such lovely blogs that I could spend hours and days reading them.
And thank you, Rajee for giving me this award in the first place.

Thank You Sunita!!!! Absolutely delighted and honored!!!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, IHM! :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You deserve it. My ten-year-old twins and I love visiting your blog. We have learned so much about the birds of Mumbai. And the bird-poop phase of the Common Mormon caterpillar had us howling with delight!
ReplyDeleteYou are always a delight!
Congratulations Sunita!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous picture. I love the closeup.
Thanks, Lona :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, June! Yes, I can see how that would tickle a 10-year old mind ;D
ReplyDeleteIt still tickles my funny bones that the caterpillars have worked out such a fantastic defence system. Can you just picture Mr. Bird saying "Open up, Junior, and have some of this nice bird-poop caterpillar"
Ewwww!
I think not!
Hi Sunita,
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to read your award post ... it had to be you ... cause I love and enjoy the volley of comments between our blogs ... love the lady with a great sense of humour an a blog that says it all ... :)
You and me both, Rajee. I love reading your very fun comments too :D
ReplyDeleteCongrats!
ReplyDeleteHope the troops at home are sleepy and disappointed. Are Indian wives/mothers sweet enough to serve the boys at home with snacks and drinks when the cricket they watch go on until wee hours?
It generally does not happen over here. It's appalling, I know.
Amila, you had me scrambling for the newspaper to see what had happened. I guess that answers your question too, right? ;D
ReplyDeleteYou would think that a bunch of grown men would find something better to do than chasing after a ball they were dumb enough to throw away in the first place! And it looks like the other guys dont want it too because they keep hitting it away too. Madness!
I won't say anything more. For all I know I've already jeopardised any chance that the son and heir has of wearing the India colours!
As for the rest of it, I'm sure it's all strategy! You know, making sure they underestimate us...
Thank you for visiting my blog and for your gracious comment :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your well-deserved award :)
Congratulations on being nominated for all those categories. For me you are already a winner for the 'Best Asian Blog', as for the other categories are concerned, you deserve them fully except that there I do not consider myself an authority to have an opinion.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Wildlife Gardener! And thanks :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so very nice of you to say so, GT :)
But I have a soft corner for all those other blogs, some of which I Follow and others which I am great friends with the blogger. So ...
Congratulations! It's so rare to come across a well-written, fun blog, which is why I check yours every day!
